Fixing:
Fasten with clouts.
Painting:
Primed Aluminium - Is pre-primed and can be painted. Ensure the surface is clean and free from oil before painting.
Colorsteel Maxam - Is a pre-finished product, but if you are wanting to paint over it, make sure the surface is clean using a household detergent, then rinse with clean water and allow to dry. Sand lightly then paint. Consult a paint manufacturer for advice on the best paint system to use.
Stainless Steel - Is a pre-finished product and we would advise against painting it. If it must be painted we would suggest powercoating as a better alternative.
Copper - Is a pre-finished product and does not require painting.

Specifications:
- Copper - 0.5mm
- Aluminium - 5000 Series - 0.7mm
- Colorsteel Maxam - Ebony - 0.4mm
- Stainless Steel - 304 - 0.5mm

This soaker will be approximately 20mm longer than the weatherboard. The fixing holes are located in the extra 20mm which will slide under the board above. The bottom of the soaker has an approx 10mm turn up to hook behind the weatherboard to hold it in place.
